Top award for Waimate country singer

Waimate’s country singing sweetheart, Kaylee Bell won female artist of the year at the New Zealand Country Music awards over the weekend.

Bell, who begun singing when she was only four, is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

”I’ve always been very ambitious and like to achieve the best I can at anything I do,” she said.

Bell is also up for the female vocalist of the year at this year’s Australian Southern Stars Independent Country Music Awards.
