Complexities cause delays on Lavish Soap renovations

SHARE

Renovations on the Lavish Soap building in Itchen St have been delayed due to the complexity of the situation.

The building is owned by North Island couple Rick and Angela Stolwerk, of Waipu, who have been working with Heritage New Zealand, the Waitaki District Council and the Oamaru Whitestone Civic Trust throughout the process.

Mrs Stolwerk visited Oamaru this week and said delays had meant it was unlikely the work would be completed by October, as initially expected.
