Mamma Mia! It’s going to be a massive show at the Oamaru Opera House next month. In the build-up to the major production by Musical Theatre Oamaru, the Oamaru Mail is introducing you to the 12 leading cast members, two by two. Today we present the first pair.
Performer: Charlotte Ramsey (17).
Stage character: Ali, friend of the bride.

Occupation: Year 13 boarder at St Kevin’s College (originally from Queenstown).
Experience: I’ve been performing since I was quite young. I did The Sound of Music in Queenstown when I was 12. I played Brigitta. It was really fun. You go out on stage and just see everyone’s faces. If they’re smiling, it makes you really excited and happy. It can get nerve-racking, but once I get on stage, I tend to forget about nerves.
If you entered Zealand’s Got Talent”, what would you perform?: I would sing. Maybe something from Adele.
Performer: Bethan Ardouin (15)
Stage character: Lisa, friend of the bride.

Occupation: Pupil at St Kevin’s College.
Experience: I’ve been doing stage shows for quite a while. Drama is one of my passions. I started as soon as I found out about it! My dad (Adam Ardouin) is also in the show.
If you entered Zealand’s Got Talent, what would you perform?: I would sing and play the piano. I’ve composed songs, but I’m not comfortable singing those in public. I’d sing a song from a musical – “On My Own” from Les Miserables is my favourite.Buy SneakersNike Air Max 270 – Deine Größe bis zu 70% günstiger
