An Oamaru woman has been pleased with the community response following her project with the Waitaki District Council to renovate the infant memorial garden in the Oamaru Lawn Cemetery.
Roseanne Sheridan, who helped create the area 20 years ago, has been working with the WDC to restore the garden over the last few months and has received offers of help from other people in the community.
Mrs Sheridan said a local monumentalist had offered their time and materials to make signs for the area.
