The Oamaru District Court was held at the hearing facility on Humber St yesterday and was presided over by Judge Joanna Maze.

Wayne Ross Bloomfield, 39, of Oamaru, convicted, fined $600, ordered to pay medical expenses of $75 and analyst fees of $109.25, and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for six months for driving with an excess blood alcohol level of 183mg on Thames St on December 19, 2014.

Samantha Louise Braxton, 19, of Oamaru, convicted and sentenced to six months’ supervision for wilful damage after breaking two windows at a property on November 21 and another window at the same property on November 24, 2014.

Cheyne Michael Fox, 25, of Enfield, convicted and sentenced to six months’ supervision for wilful damage after damaging a cell phone during the same incident as above following an argument on November 21, 2014.

Jasmine Jenner, 23, of Oamaru, convicted and sentenced to six months’ supervision for breach of community work on December 19, 2014.

Jade Allan Knight, 34, of Oamaru, convicted and fined $250 for breach of community work on November 1, 2014.

Michael James Matthews, 30, stone mason, of Weston, convicted and fined $500, ordered to pay reparation of $4780.85 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for eight months for driving in a dangerous manner and refusing an officer’s request for blood after driving in excess of the speed limit on Severn St and crashing into a lamp post on Awamoa Rd before being stopped by police and electing to have his blood tested for alcohol but later refusing on November 22, 2015.

Mark McCormick, 27, dairy farm worker, of Richmond, convicted and sentenced to nine months’ supervision for driving with an excess breath alcohol level of 1129mcg on Seven Mile Rd on January 29.

Ayla Moira McDowell, 23, dairy farm worker, of Enfield, convicted, sentenced to four months’ community detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 12 months for driving in a dangerous manner and driving with an excess breath alcohol level of 794mcg on Weaver St on December 7, 2014, and driving while suspended on Weston-Ngapara Rd on January 15.

Shelley Montana, 38, hairdresser, of Oamaru, convicted and ordered to come up if called upon within nine months for shoplifting after taking a bottle of $99 whisky from the New Zealand Whisky Collection on January 2.

Kaylem Joe Pitcher, 18, of Oamaru, convicted, fined $300 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for three months for (being a person under the age of 20) driving with an excess breath alcohol of 400mcg on Stour St on January 16.

Ian Stanley Rowell, 69, driving instructor, of Oamaru, convicted, fined $350 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for six months for driving with an excess breath alcohol level of 567mcg on Reed St on January 14.

Hamish Ford Slater, 19, apprentice builder, of Oamaru, convicted, fined $350 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for six months for driving with an excess breath alcohol level of 468mcg on Stour St on January 25.

Jesse Robert Telke, 17, of Oamaru, convicted and discharged for breach of bail on December 19, 2014.

Joseph Butler Williams, 46, dairy worker, of Enfield, convicted, fined $500 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 12 months for driving while suspended on Wansbeck St on December 22, 2014.
