Aoraki Polytechnic is continuing to analyse staff feedback over proposed restructuring before making any final decisions, acting chief executive Alex Cabrera says.
“I am still in the process of considering feedback gained from the consultation with staff,” he said.
“The feedback received was good and has provided an opportunity for me to hear staff views on ways to strengthen the organisation.”
Final decisions over restructuring had not been made yet, he said.
“I don’t want to speculate at this stage what the outcome will be and no final decisions will be made until all submissions have been fully considered.
“There is no timeframe for this at this stage.”
Aoraki Polytechnic is undergoing a review of staffing levels and their business structure.
The polytechnic announced in December that a single teaching and learning unit would be established, which would allow them to reduce the number of management and administration positions in the business.
