Wait almost over for NCEA results

The wait is almost over for nervous pupils awaiting NCEA results.

NZQA deputy chief executive qualifications Richard Thornton said NCEA results would be made available online on Wednesday, January 15.

New Zealand scholarship results were due out in mid-February, Mr Thornton said.

Precautions were being taken to prevent the nzqa.govt.nz website crashing when results came out on Wednesday, he said.

“To allow for the loading of results and final system testing, the Learner Login section of our website will not be available to students for a few days in the lead up to the release of results.”

“We advise students to have a practice run using the Learner Login section of the NZQA website . . . so that they’re not held up on the day results are released by having to find login details or change passwords.”

From January 16, pupils who have paid their fees and completed NCEA or university entrance can order their certificates online.
