Esmae Healey, 86, is the proud owner of a brand new, one-off Mini Cooper, which has just been imported from England, after being named the winner of a national Four Square supermarket promotion.

Mrs Healey has shopped at Fraser’s Four Square, North End, for 25 years and said she was very pleased to have been drawn the winner of Four Square’s 90th birthday celebration promotion.

Shoppers could enter the competition each time they purchased goods at a Four Square and Alan Smith, group manager Four Square South Island, said over 24,000 entries were received.

Mrs Healey doesn’t drive but her granddaughter, Nicola, ensures she gets where she needs to go.

“I think its awesome that Nanna has been coming here (Frasers Four Square) for 25 years.”

Owners, Brian and Trish Fraser, started at the store in July 1979 and have just celebrated 35 years in the business.
