Highlanders fever is strong in Oamaru ahead of Saturday’s play-off match.

With the Highlanders hosting their first Super Rugby playoff game since the 1999 final loss to the Crusaders, the North Otago Rugby Football Union and the North Otago Supporters Club are keenly anticipating the clash.

Two premier club rugby games have been brought forward from the usual 2.45pm slot to allow players and supporters from the clubs to head to Dunedin for the match.
