The unexplained death of a 47-year-old Oamaru man is being investigated by more than a dozen police personnel from around the lower South Island.
About 15 investigators from Oamaru, Dunedin and Central Otago, as well as police forensic experts and two ESR scientists, are working to establish the movements of the man, who was found on Saturday evening at a commercial premises near the corner of Arun and Hull St.
The scene was cordoned off on Saturday evening and a scene examination began at about 10.30am yesterday, with police seen entering and exiting local business Kelly’s Cakes.
