BUNCHING UP: From left, Linda Whiston, Lexie McCone and Louise Hargreaves were part of nearly a dozen women at the North Otago Highland Pipe Bank hall yesterday bunching up daffodils for the Cancer Society.

Volunteer group leader Monica Sullivan said volunteers picked the majority of the flowers at Ian and Gloria Hurst’s farm on Sunday.

Some of the nearly 300 bunches of daffodils were distributed to businesses yesterday for a donation to the Cancer Society and the rest would be sold at 12 different stalls around Oamaru on Friday for Daffodil Day.
