The two historic Norfolk pines near Oamaru’s Victorian Precinct, which were due to be felled in mid-June, have received a stay of execution.
Vicar of the Anglican Parish of Oamaru-Maheno, the Rev Tim Hurd, said the felling of the majestic 135-year-old trees has been delayed by the recent weather event.
