Sharing plates proves popular


The launch of Oamaru’s latest food venture ticked all the boxes, says organiser Sue Morton. Teaming up with local foodie Tanya Halcrow, the pair created the Shared Plate concept.

Their first event was a midwinter feast demonstration, which was so popular it sold out. “The feedback has been phenomenal,” Mrs Morton said. “It ticked all the boxes possible.”
