Joyce Johnston became a Plunket baby in 1926 and has been involved with the society ever since.
Now a life member, Mrs Johnston’s daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter are also Plunket babies.
Mrs Johnston has held a number of roles within the society, including secretary treasurer and president of the Duntroon branch and also secretary at Oamaru’s town branch.
The North Otago Plunket Society is celebrating its 100th birthday on July 13 and Mrs Johnston said a lot of things had changed over the years.
