Isla and Al set to brighten up town
Scottish-born singer songwriter Isla Grant returns to Oamaru tomorrow night as part of a 24-venue tour.
According to Ms Grant, the show will include some new elements including Al Grant, her equally talented husband, who will sing several songs on his own.
"Al is usually on stage with me for the show but tomorrow night he will have a guest singer spot in the show," she told the Oamaru Mail.
The programme will include many of her favourite songs, which have established Ms Grant as a major recording artist.
The New Zealand tour will be one of the last for the year, with Ms Grant and her husband aiming to be in Aberdeen for Christmas.
"Heavy snow is predicted for the United Kingdom at Christmas, so we may not make it to Scotland," she said.
"But we will certainly keep our fingers crossed that we do make Aberdeen for Christmas and be able to meet our new grand-daughter."
