Notable date for special occasion
For Robin Cadogan and Nicola Wilde, 12/12/12 was an extra-special date.
The Oamaru couple were married in a ceremony at the RSA Gardens yesterday.
The partners of about three years were hoping for an unforgettable wedding, and what better way to make sure it was so by getting hitched on an unforgettable date?
"It's the last time anyone will be able to get married with this type of pattern," Mr Cadogan said.
"We'd also heard that Wednesdays were originally wedding days."
He admitted he could be forgetful, but even he would struggle to forget their anniversary.
"That's an added bonus," he said.
