Originals recreate Four Seasons
The original Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons band will be performing at the Oamaru Opera House next month.
The show, which was written in 2008 by George Solomon and Michael Chapman, has toured the world and is returning to New Zealand after a successful tour in 2012.
It began in Las Vegas five years ago and Solomon told the Oamaru Mail he never thought in a million years the show would take off like it has.
"We have performed all over the world," he said.
Although around 50 performers are cast to accommodate the number of shows, the original four are touring New Zealand.
"It has just been escalating all the time," he said.
Solomon had previously performed solo but jumped at the chance to join the show.
"The songs are just amazing," he said.
"They are catchy and timeless."
Solomon said the audience gets the chance to hear all four talented performers as each one gets a lead piece.
The song list includes Sherry, Rag Doll and Walk Like a Man.
The band will be performing at the Oamaru Opera House on March 6. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost $75.
