Primary children have a go at sailing
Kakanui Primary School students took to the water last week in the "Have a Go" novice sailing programme.
Teacher David Atkinson said it was a great experience for the youngsters.
"They loved it, they had a really good time," he said.
"They were challenged by the wind at times but it was safe and they were impressive."
