The Whitestone Contracting Stadium will be set to rock tonight straight after the Highlanders take on the Crusaders in a game which promises to be a cracker.

North Otago Rugby Union chief executive officer Colin Jackson says the admission price gets patrons in for what promises to be a great game of rugby, plus an outstanding line-up of entertainment which kicks off straight after the game.

"The concert will start at 6.30pm and is sponsored by The Bog in Dunedin," he said.

"The entertainment line-up is Smash Box, from Christchurch, Live Wire, from Dunedin, both of which play the bar scene and Mandy Pickering, a previous winner of Stars in Their Eyes and who has released two CDs."

Mr Jackson says the concert will go through to about 8.45pm and a ticket gets patrons in for the rugby game and the concert, or just the concert or the rugby.

"Tickets are available at the gate and at the Opera House and there will be plenty of food and refreshments," he said.

"It's going to be a great event and we look forward to seeing a big crowd enjoying top rugby and an outstanding line-up of entertainment."
