The men will be headed up by player coach Janos Manyai, Robin Jamieson, Albert Hailes and Jeremy Ferguson.

The women's team have a mother and daughter duo in the A team with Nicky Wallace, Rebecca Dellaway, Judith Wallace and Leanne Mavor.

The B side also has a family feel with brothers Josh Dalziel and Nick Dalziel at No1 and No3 with Glen Claridge and Thomas More at No2 and No4.

The women's B team consists of Renee Fisher-Hewitt, Rebecca Ryan, Cathy Aitken, and Joanne Mallison, with Kate Caldwell as the reserve.

Robin Jamieson said he is expecting the North Otago group to be confident following their recent impressive displays.

"We'll be confident, our performance against Otago before Christmas will give us confidence and we've managed to keep the bulk of the players from that team," Jamieson said.

Round One: North Otago A vs South Canterbury A, North Otago B vs Otago B

Round Two: North Otago A vs Southern Lakes B, North Otago B - BYE
