Burglary involvement gets jail term

A 22-year-old Oamaru man was handed a 15-month jail sentence in the Oamaru District Court yesterday for his part in five burglaries while he was awaiting sentencing.

Todd Richard Brown, 22, unemployed of Oamaru, appeared before Judge Raoul Neave facing five charges of burglary, once charge of being found in a building without a reasonable excuse and one charge of breaching community work.
