An Oamaru woman who stole $824 from her employers at Video Ezy to fund a synthetic cannabis habit was sentenced in the Oamaru District Court yesterday.
Verity Grace Thompson, 21, unemployed, of Kakanui, was sentenced to six months’ supervision, ordered to complete drug and alcohol counselling and to pay $400.37 for dishonestly accessing a Video Ezy Hire computer system without claim and causing loss to her employer and stealing $824.
