WGHS library set to open

SHARE

Six hundred thousand dollars and nine months after work began, Waitaki Girls’ High School pupils have a brand new library, which will be officially opened on September 3.

The library has been three years in the making. The original space was converted into a technology suite and the library has been based in junior classrooms.

Waitaki Girls’ High School principal Tracy Walker said while the library has been a long time coming, it was worth it.
