If your cat has gone missing recently and you haven’t contacted the SPCA, there is a chance it could have been adopted out, says North Otago SPCA shelter manager Maree Corder.
Ms Corder said people forget about ringing the SPCA.
”It’s happened quite a lot recently,” she said.
All animals that are taken into the SPCA are quarantined for seven days and after the first week, the animal becomes the property of the North Otago SPCA.
