An Oamaru couple have made the successful step of starting their own gym.
Fekita and Victoria Teu have always wanted to own and run their own gym, and have finally achieved that goal, setting up shop at the Oamaru Rowing Club.
Harbour Side Fitness, which was opened last month, is for anybody who wants to go to the gym and get results.
Harbour Side Fitness director Victoria Teu said it was great to finally have their own premises.
“We are really happy we finally have a place to set up and offer our various training programmes for people.”
Some of the programmes on offer at the gym include body building, boxing fitness and various other classes.
Mrs Teu, who along with her husband is a qualified personal trainer, encourages anybody who is looking to do some fitness training to head along.
“Our main goal is to make sure that all our clients are achieving the targets they set for themselves and targets we give them while they are working out.”
The gym is full of gear from cardio, to weights to machine depending what people would like to do.
“We have a bit of everything here, and are currently in the process of getting some new gear for the gym.”
Mr Teu, who is a body builder, would love to teach people about his sport.
“We will hold body building classes for people if they want to learn.”
The gym is open 24 hours.
