Broken wrist throws a spanner in title hunt

Courtney Duncan’s US campaign has been halted after a broken wrist prevented her from advancing in the AMA nationals over the weekend.

The Palmerston rider has now slipped in the standings from the No1 spot, to now being ranked seventh overall.

Duncan has been unbeatable on the race track in the United States this season, but was unable to compete in round four of the AMA nationals in Pennsylvania, which included the second round of the Women’s Motocross Championships.
