Champions bounce back with solid effort

Local netball reconvened at the Taward St Courts on Saturday following a well-earned rest over Queen’s Birthday weekend.

Reigning champions SKC Snr A found their form with a tough 30-28 victory over Waitaki Wildfire.

Valley took their second St Kevin’s scalp in as many weeks by downing SKC Snr B 40-28 to maintain their 100 per cent record.

Eastern A’s dominant form will have the rest of the top division teams looking over their shoulders as they produced another strong performance in their 42-17 win against WGHS Lightening Strike.

Athletic Maroon fell to their third consecutive defeat in their 33-17 loss to Excelsior.
