Fans fly high at champs

All eyes were on a young Oamaru netballer last Saturday evening as she stood side by side with Southern Steel captain Wendy Frew and Central Pulse captain Katrina Grant in front of thousands of fans at the More FM Arena in Dunedin.

Nine-year-old Sarah Jamison, along with 10-year-old Twizel netballer Lily Brophy, won the opportunity to meet the captains and high five each player as they ran on court, through the ANZ Future Captains competition.

The Fenwick Primary School pupil said getting to high five the Pulse players was her favourite part of the experience.
