Class act Morgan Henderson just keeps on keeping on for the North Otago women’s rugby team.

Henderson produced another whale of a performance last Saturday, scoring three tries in a 41-17 win over Alhambra-Union at Dunedin’s North Ground.

The openside flanker has turned heads in recent times with a series of outstanding displays that show off all her skills and mobility as well as her work ethic and toughness.

At this rate, she will not only be a guaranteed starter for the Otago Spirit but will come into the frame for Black Ferns selection.

Fellow loose forward Haruko Tomita also got on the scoresheet for North Otago, while the other tries came from Cheyenne Cunningham, Ana Hoi Siale and impressive centre Nia Sanft.

North Otago jumped to a 12-0 lead but then let Alhambra-Union back into the game with two quick tries.

Tries just before and just after halftime got North Otago back on track, and the visiting side charged home with three tries in the final quarter.
