Maheno battling to stay in the premier grade

Maheno Rugby Club have not ruled out competing in the Oamaru Liqourland Citizens Shield in 2015.

The club came to the conclusion that back in October it would no longer compete in the premier rugby grade here in Oamaru because a number of players were moving on and some of the teams more experienced players have moved on.

While it’s not confirmed it’s likely that the club will play in the top grade after some of there players rallied around and have managed to find some more players who will be up to the rigors of premier club rugby.
