North Otago down Wanganui for fourth win

North Otago have edged closer to a top four finish by seeing off Wanganui at the Whitestone Contracting Stadium on Saturday with a 27-15 win.

The Old Golds now sit third on the points table but face a tough test in second place West Coast in Greymouth on Saturday.

Mullins said he was pleased with his team’s effort and was hoping for a personnel boost, with players returning from injury.

“We are happy with the performance of the team,” he said.
