The Rainbow Confectionery team was crowned champion after nine weeks of competition.

Organiser Nathan McLeod said it was a tight competition this year – just 10 points separated first and 10th-placed teams.

A lot of new teams entered the annual inter-firm competition this year, and about 12 new members had signed up to the club as a result.

McLeod said the club was now hosting open nights on Fridays for those who were keen to continue playing, or for new people to give squash a go. PHOTO: SUPPLIED
