The Skeggs Foundation will be hosting a function in Oamaru on Monday evening to meet athletes, coaches and local sports organisations as their September funding round approaches.
The function will act as an opportunity to celebrate the successes of some of the recipients of Skeggs Foundation Grants and speak to regional sports organisations and athletes about changes to the way the Foundation allocates grants.
The Skeggs Foundation was established in 1993 to provide assistance to Otago’s aspiring athletes, helping them to attain their goals and offset the financial costs of living in Otago while travelling to compete and train.
