Tainui face Wakanui Black

Tainui will lock horns with Wakanui Black in a battle of the top two on Saturday in Timaru and will hope to return to winning form following three successive losses.

The Oamaru side were downed by Cambridge 3-2 last weekend and have lost four of their last five matches following six wins from their opening six matches.

Despite the dismal run of form, Jared Ovens’ side remain at the points table’s summit, one point ahead of Saturday’s opponents.
