Used gear for Vanuatu schools

Used sporting gear including tennis racquets and balls, footballs, rugby balls, netballs and netball hoops, along with clean, second-hand sporting footwear, is being collected for needy Vanuatu schools that suffered devastating damage in the recent Cyclone Pam.

The collection will be part of a shipping container-load of donated goods that will be sent from New Zealand to Vanuatu at some time between late July and early August.

Oamaru women Sally Austin and Jacquie Webby are co-ordinating the collection of used sports gear in New Zealand.
