WBHS prove too good for King’s

Waitaki Boys’ High School produced a sterling performance to down King’s High School 32-22 at Milner Park yesterday.

The interschool match will also stand as the two sides’ third fixture of the Otago Secondary School’s Rugby Competition.

King’s, who on paper looked Waitaki’s toughest opponents of the season so far, were quick out of the traps with a try in the corner from wing Rory O’Neill inside five minutes but inside centre Harri Parker was unable to convert from a challenging angle.
