Waitaki Boys’ High School’s senior and under-16 rugby teams will face Uppingham School from England on August 3.
The co-educational independent school, situated in Rutland, England, will play six matches during their tour of New Zealand.
Uppingham was established in 1584 and can boast of such notable alumni as comedians Stephen Fry and Rowan Atkinson, while actor Hugh Jackman was a former teaching assistant at the school.
