Monday, May 18

St Kevin’s College’s First XV went down 33-12 to John McGlashan College in Oamaru on Saturday but Waitaki Boys’ High School toppled Dunedin’s Kavanagh College 27-13 in week four of the Otago Secondary Schools Competition.

SKC fell to their third loss in as many weeks to an impressive John McGlashan side in fine conditions on Murray Field.

Lock Woody Kirkwood opened the scoring for the visitors following sustained pressure and first five-eighth Daine Lowery converted.
