Waitaki Girls’ High School’s First XV lost out 12-0 to Craighead Diocesan School at Whitestone Contracting Stadium on Wednesday in dismal conditions.
Coach Graeme Blackler said his players had a lot to work on ahead of next week’s clash with Timaru Girls’ High School.
“They made a lot of errors, a lot of dropped balls,” he said.
“It was pretty sticky conditions. They played well but there were a lot of errors.”
