More than $30 millions is to be spent on road improvements, maintenance, safety initiatives and investment management around Waitaki over the next three years.
On Tuesday, the New Zealand Transport Agency outlined the detailed of its 2015-18 National Land Transport Programme (NLTP), which will see $406 million invested in Otago’s transport system over the next three years.
Investment includes about $180 million for maintaining local roads and $82 million for the region’s state highway network.
