A Nepalese couple who founded an orphanage near Kathmandu will be talking in Oamaru this month about their experiences.
Sushanta Das and Shanta Dhakal spent a night in Oamaru on Thursday and will return next Sunday for their talk at the Organic Larder on Monday, November 17.
Sushanta, who was born in Dunedin, moved to India in 1977 and worked as a jeweller before moving to Nepal about 20 years ago.
