Whitestone Cheese’s new gourmet butter was launched to the rest of the country yesterday.

The Oamaru-based cheese makers teamed up with top New Zealand chef Al Brown to create a premium butter, and expand the emerging New Zealand artisan butter market.

Yesterday’s launch celebrated the three new butters; Salted, Unsalted and Manuka Smoked – all freshly churned from premium North Otago cream.
