This year’s North Otago Horticultural Society spring show will showcase a variety of beautiful blooms, vegetables and floral art.
The annual show will be held at the Scottish Hall, Tyme St, on September 28 and 29 with entries due by September 26.
Daffodils will be a feature bloom of the event, together with other beautiful flowers from a September garden.
This year’s classes include open and nove and they cater for all gardeners.
The floral art section has open, intermediate and novice classes and there will also be a photographic section, which is open to everyone (including children), and lots of classes for the amateur vegetable grower.
Show secretary Reg Partridge said if you have a superb swede or some giant leeks in your garden, consider entering them for the show.
