Thumping win for Bank

A four-goal second half, including a Martin Bell scorcher. saw Meadowbank United advance to the next round of the South Canterbury Cup with a 5-2 win over Thistle on Sunday.

The South Canterbury Cup is a knockout competition so, while Meadowbank move through to the next round, Thistle have to pack their bags.
