What type of mo will you grow?

The 2013 Movember campaign kicks off tomorrow, but Fat Sally’s is welcoming Oam-Mo-Ru Mo Bro’s with open arms at an “official” registration evening tonight, from 5.30pm.

Keen Mo Bros can register and pick up their “Movember Survival Pack”, including a VIP card, which will give participants half-price meals throughout the whole of Movember and Happy Hour prices each Thursday in Movember.

Fat Sally’s has been supporting Movember since its inception and is proud to be involved again, owner Sally-Ann Donnelly said.

The campaign is a “bit of a laugh”, but with the serious undertone of raising awareness of so many men’s health issues that usually would not be discussed – and at the same time raising money for a good cause.

“If even just a couple of blokes talk about an experience they have had, Google something or look up the Movember website, because we have brought it to their attention, then it has been a success – and that is our goal,” she said.

Reigning champion Nigel Harris will be a judge this year and, for a bit of fun, excitement and suspense, Fat Sally’s are getting people to vote for what Mo Nigel should grow this year.

From now until November 27 at 5pm, Mr Harris will grow a beard for the month of Movember before having it groomed into the Mo that gets the most votes. He will reveal the winning Mo at an Awards Party on Thursday, November 28 at 5.30pm.

Head to the Fat Sally’s Facebook Page, or into Fat Sally’s to vote with a gold coin donation – the proceeds of which will go to Oam-MO-Ru’s Movember total.
