Dog owner to appear in court

The owner of two two dogs involved in an attack that killed 41 sheep in Waimate is due to appear in court next week.

A 34-year-old Waimate man will appear in the Timaru District Court on May 29 in relation to the dog attack which caused the death of 38 lambs and one ewe on April 12.

A further two lambs were later put down.
