Malcolm stands down after one term

The Corriedale electorate will be wide open for two new candidates at the upcoming triennial elections after councillor Kevin Malcolm’s decision not to stand again.

“I am definitely not standing for re-election,” he said.

“There are a number of reasons for my decision but, mainly, after the 20 to 25 years I have had on school boards and community committees, it is time to spend more time with my wife Jane and our family. “It is time to take a rest.”
