A meeting at the Kakanui Hall tonight will allow members of the public to voice their opinions to the mayor and district councillors over the future of the coastal road.
In December, the Coastal Road Community Group was formed to ensure the preservation of the coastal road.
The group is hosting the meeting tonight to discuss how to deal with erosion on the coastal road, whether that be through closing parts of the road when they become unsafe or other options.
