More strong winds on way


North Otago’s mixed bag of weather looks set to continue for a few days yet.

After record levels of rainfall for late June-early July, following by a big dump of snow, howling northwesterly gales on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning brought trees down, interrupted power supplies and sent rising levels of water into regional streams and rivers in the aftermath of the snow melt.
