Union’s Matt Lilley was in impressive form in round nine of the Dick Hunt holiday competition last weekend, snaring an outstanding 7 for 19 off 7 overs including 4 wickets in 4 balls against Valley at Weston Park.
Union went on to win the tie by 150 runs and record there sixth win in this year’s competition.
It was the 22-year-old’s first match since breaking a bone in his right hand and will no doubt endeavour to carry his fine form in to the Dick Hunt holiday competition final on January 21.
Round ten will ensue tomorrow but Lilley’s Union will have a bye.
